We are more than just a boat trip.
We aren't like your run-of-the-mill trips that take you somewhere, leave you to snorkel on your own and then return you to the dock. We believe that the trip should be an adventure from start to finish. From the thrill of whizzing across the water on the fastest tour boat in Grenada, to WOWing you with information about the different places we go. Whether it be historical, environmental or geological, your crew has a vast and unmatched knowledge about the island, and they love entertaining you. It is after all what we do best!
We don't do diving.
We think it is important to concentrate on our snorkelers and we can't do that with divers on board. Diving is a technical equipment-intensive hobby and typically if you are on a mixed boat you wont be the main focus of the trip. Often left to your own devices without a guide you probably wont see as much as you should. You may have an ok time, but it may not be a memorable one. We are all about snorkelling, with great snorkel equipment. We have super-soft silicone sealed masks in a host of different sizes, silicone snorkels, adjustable fins, snorkel vests, life rings, life vests, noodles etc. In fact we have it all coved because that is what we do in the water..........just snorkelling.
1st Class snorkel tuition
Before you go in the water we train or in some cases re-train you on how to use the equipment. We tend to find that people have never been shown how to properly use the equipment and it shows. We will teach you some key skills that will have you enjoying your snorkelling more, not just on the day you are out with us but every time you snorkel from that day forward.
Small groups.
Our boat seats a maximum of 12 passengers but normal numbers on board are 6-8 people so if you like small groups then you are in the right place. Unlike the large boats, having fewer passengers allows us to get to know you better. Before you get in the water, we will take the time to check on your confidence in the water, whether you have snorkeled before and your general swimmimg ability. This helps us to identify nervous and new snorkelers so that we ensure they get extra attention. Once the group goes in with Albert we keep the new and nervous near to him so he is always right there to help.
New or nervous snorkeler?
If you are new to snorkelling or have had a bad experience in the past, don't worry you are not on your own with this one. On the 'stack-them-high, pile-them-on' trips with dozens of other snorkelers it is easy to get lost in the crowd and too often we hear about poor equipment, poor guides and crew who don't seem too concerned about you. We have the time to work through your nervousness, offer extra tuition and help build your confidence in the water. If you need him, we can buddy you up with Albert, who always snorkels towing a life-ring, to ensure you feel safe.
We take more time if you need it.
Sometimes people are really nervous and that's ok. Once the confident snorkelers have gone in the water the boat is much quieter and this is when we can run through things again to make sure you are happy. We have taken many first-time snorkelers for their first adventure, and because Albert will be right there with you, you'll feel safe and become more confident.
"But I can't even swim let alone snorkel!"
We get quite a lot of non-swimmers on our boat who come along for the ride and rest of the adventure but who are quite happy to sit out the snorkelling while their traveling companions go in the water. Well a trip with us might just change you idea of what is possible. If you would really like to give it a go then we are here to help make it happen. Normally we would let the main group of snorkelers go in the water and then the captain will explain how it can work, step at a time. Obviously we can't have a whole boat of non-swimmers in the water so a maximum of 2 per trip would be possible. Let us know before hand if you might want to have a try,
Underwater Sculpture Park
If you are interested in the underwater statues then you're in the right place for the best guided tour of the sculpture park in Grenada. Nobody knows more about the sculptures and what's going on with the park than Howard. As the chairman of GUSMI (Grenada Underwater Sculpture Management Inc.) the non-profit organisation who look after the sculptures, Howard has been the key fund raiser for the the biggest project to be undertaken since the park was installed in 2006. He is also overseeing the construction of several new statues for installation in the park. Grenada Seafaris Powerboat Adventure have a passion for the sculpture park and have sponsored more pieces within the park than anybody else, including 14 Amerindian sculptures and the remaking of Sienna who was one of the original statures which was damaged by corrosion. Most of the newer statues have been built at Howard's workshop at his house by local artist Troy Lewis. Howard also sits on one of the committees that govern the Marine Protected Area in which the sculpture park is located. We are passionate about conservation and we are always involved in the latest programs and initiatives that are going on.

If you want the best you are in the right place
We donít do second best so we looked at every part of a typical tour and made it better> We believe that it is our commitment to excellence that helps us keep ahead of the competition. It's the only tour in Grenada where your Captain owns the company, and you canít beat riding with the boss. Our boat is awesome, was custom made for us and is the newest tour boat in Grenada. It is very stable, very safe and comfortable. Our Captain is a PADI Scuba Instructor, a First responder Instructor and a RYA Powerboat Instructor and so is the most qualified Captain on the island. Our Equipment is renewed more regularly than any other tour boat and the crew are very knowledgeable. Because our groups are small you will get the extra attention that you deserve.
